Many people, go through life without understanding the traditions we celebrate, they are ALL Spiritual, from season to season we connect to the ebb and flow of nature, As well, we are all Interconnected to many other cultures and traditions across the world, all sharing a similar thread in them all. This is the beauty of tradition, people and Spirituality. I am blessed to have Illumination. Absolutely EVERYTHING is Spiritual.

This time of year the line between the dead and the living is very thin. In Haitian Vodou, Voodoo Spirits of the Dead we celebrate Fete Ghede. There are many other cultures celebrating this time of year as well. Such as Samhain, in Christainity All Saints Day Nov 1, All Hallows Eve Oct. 31; Nov 2 All Soul Day, Dia de los Muertos, Araw ng mga Patay, Mahalaya Amavasya.

It is the Season of the Dead in Haitian Vodou. Ghede Spirits/Lwa is a very interesting and powerful. Ghede embodies everything that is life. They are the spirits of fertility. As the spirits of death they are also great healers, and if it is not someones time to die, they can heal a person no matter how close to death they may be. Any sickness that has a magical or spiritual cause can be placed into the hands of Ghede. They can remove any negative or evil Spirit and return it to the grave. They are the spirits of fertility.
